Whitney Dagg's Breakfast Quinoa
Ingredients
- 1 cup of trim milk
- ½ cup of rinsed quinoa
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tbsp of sunflower seeds
- ½ cup of fresh blueberries (or your choice of fruit)
Method
- Bring milk to the boil in a saucepan
- Add quinoa, stir and bring to the boil again
- Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until most of the milk has been absorbed (approx 15 mins)
- Stir in sugar, cinnamon, sunflower seeds and blueberries
- Add additional milk to serve if you wish
