Post Exercise - The Hour of Power!

The first hour after exercise is vitally important for effective recovery. When you exercise, depending on the type and intensity, small micro-tears can occur within the muscle fibres. Your body responds by increasing the production of growth and repair hormones, particularly those associated with muscular tissue.1 By providing the right nutrients during this time you may be able to conserve muscle mass, recovery times, strength2, and therefore performance.
